LifePort Kidney Transporter Disposable Oxygenation Perfusion Circuit
The Oxygenation Perfusion Circuit may be seamlessly installed on any existing LifePort Kidney Transporter, providing the versatility to choose whether or not supplemental oxygenation is needed.
Adding oxygen to the machine preservation solution prior to placing the kidney enables an increase in perfusate oxygen concentration level (pO2). This method of oxygenation increases the pO2 to greater than 400 mmHg at 4⁰C after 20-30 min of oxygenation3.
Some studies have found that the cortical oxygen levels deplete to near zero during the warm ischemic periods. Pre-loading the KPS-1 (also known as UW machine perfusion solution) with oxygen may reverse these negative effects as the kidney absorbs the largest amount of oxygen from the perfusate in the first hour of hypothermic machine perfusion (HMP)4.
LifePort Kidney Transporter Disposable Oxygenation Perfusion Circuit is not commercially available in all markets.

LifePort Kidney Transporter Disposable Universal SealRing Cannulas
The Universal SealRing cannula is designed to allow non-invasive cannulation of living donor kidneys as well as kidneys from deceased donors. The thermoplastic rubber seal gasket and cannula surface create a gentle pressure seal on the edge of the artery, enabling use in kidneys with full, partial or no aortic patch. In addition, four anchor points enable a suture to be put in place, if required, while the pressure seal is created. A new magnifying sightglass on the rubber seal gasket assists with cannula alignment on the artery.
